  • Academic Degrees and Certificates
    EPCC offers more than 130 programs of study to earn an associates degree or certificate of completion. Getting started toward your higher education goals is just a few steps away.

  • Athletic Programs
    EPCC is a member of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) and competes at the Division I Level in Region V of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Athletic programs include baseball, softball and cross country.

  • Community-Wide Orientation
    EPCC is a member of the El Paso Nurse Educators' Council, which consists of representatives from the Education Department of the various area hospitals, UTEP, and EPCC. Monthly meetings are held to brainstorm, network, and problem solve issues regarding the educational needs of hospital staff.

  • Contract Opportunities Center
    The COC web site is a resource for businesses in El Paso County to find useful information about contract opportunities and what we can do to help your business grow.

  • Distance Education
    Distance Education is made up of Instructional Television courses, Videoconferencing courses, and Online/Internet courses, which all earn the same college credit as on-campus courses.

  • Diversity Programs
    The Diversity Programs Office strives to foster and promote cultural awareness and respect not only among employees but among our students and the surrounding El Paso community. Our target is to educate and disseminate information that highlights and celebrates the numerous cultures which construct and impact our world.

  • Continuing Education
    A variety of non-credit workforce education and community services courses, seminars, conferences, and workshops are available to help meet your lifelong learning needs.

  • Dual Credit Program
    EPCC offers fundamental core courses to qualified high school juniors and seniors at high school campuses during daytime periods. Students receive both high school credit and college credit for the courses they take in the dual credit program.

  • Early College High School
    The Early College High School Initiative is designed to allow students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an Associate Degree in four years.  The key to the success of this initiative is a strong partnership between the school districts and higher education institutions.

  • Health Careers Opportunity Program
    EPCC HCOP Program is a federally-funded program, assisting students to get into a health care profession. The program provides students from disadvantaged backgrounds an opportunity to develop the skills needed to successfully compete for admission to and graduation from health professions programs.

  • Instructional Programs
    The mission of the  Instructional area is to ensure high quality courses and outstanding programs in various delivery modes to all individuals who desire to pursue higher education. In addition, the Instructional area will provide a wide array of support services to foster student success.

  • Kids & Parents
    The Children’s College offers a wide variety of courses and events including the Spring Arts Festival and Sports Camps geared toward the very young on our community.

  • Learning Community Program
    Learning Communities are groups of courses that are linked together by a common theme. Ideally, learning communities support learning to learn as a social act. Students enrolled will bring the confidence and social energy fostered by membership in the community into the classroom

  • National Multicultural Interpreter Project
    The project provided program assistance, as applicable, to the other 11 RSA Interpreter Training Projects who provided interpreter education and training opportunities to all 50 states, including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.

  • PREP
    Pretesting Retesting Eductational Program is a grant funded program whose primary purpose is to set structure to improve developmental education at EPCC.

  • Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE)
    EPCC’s Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) consists of Student, Faculty and Community Development Activities. All activities are aimed at providing underrepresented students with the tools to succeed in college and pursue a biomedical research career and a Ph.D.

  • Small Business Development Center
    The Small Business Development Center is the largest management and technical assistance program for small businesses in the United States. Enacted by the U. S. Congress in 1980, the program is administered by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and is supported by Congressional appropriations.

  • SBDC Border Manufacturing and Supplier Search
    The program is operated by state governments and hosted by universities and colleges under cooperative agreement. The purpose of the program is to enhance the development of small business enterprises through counseling, technical assistance and training services. Today, there are over 1,100 service centers throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

  • Upward Bound
    Upward Bound is designed to develop skills in low-income first- generation students to graduate from high school and enter college

  • Workforce Development
    EPCC offers various programs targeted for dislocated workers and educationally disadvantaged individuals who need to improve their basic academic and vocational skills to meet the needs of business and industry in the El Paso region.
